Job description: Café NIL is a vibrant space where diverse people have a great time with friends and family while enjoying delicious food and drinks. Therefore, it is important to always approach various requests with a friendly smile and a dynamic temperament.
About you:
We are looking for vivid waiters/waitresses with relevant experience. You have initiative and can respond to various guest requests with a swift kindness when needed. You are the link between Café NIL and its guests. Therefore, you are able to present the NIL philosophy and different dishes, actively make recommendations when necessary, and provide advice to our guests.
Tasks you will handle include, for example:
- Introducing the company
- Actively making recommendations and advising guests
- Taking orders
- Serving and clearing tables
- Preparing coffee and tea specialties, serving drinks
- Proper cash handling
- Following and implementing safety, order, and cleanliness standards
- Cleaning and tidying up
You can expect a pleasant and relaxed working atmosphere as well as a long-term position in a young, growing company located in the cultural center of Vienna. Currently, we offer positions for 20 hours per week or 32 hours per week.

Kitchen Assistant – part-time 20h
Job description:
With the new Café NIL, we aspire to revive Neubau’s iconic Café as a cultural interface between Orient and Occident. With a central focus on Egyptian cuisine, we merge various Levantine-Mediterranean cuisines to create a unique taste experience. Therefore, our menu offers delicious references to Egyptian, Lebanese, Syrian, Persian, Sudanese, Moroccan, Israeli, and Yemeni cuisine.
About you:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate kitchen assistant with relevant experience. You have a hands-on mentality and love the personal identity of a casual café-restaurant. At the same time, you keep a cool head in stressful situations. Your activity is based on close cooperation with your team. You show commitment and passion, and your work approach is equally tactical, efficient, and creative. Harmonious collaboration and team spirit is, besides high quality, the essential ingredient for the alchemy of success and an unforgettable experience for our guests.
Tasks you will handle include, for example:
- Daily preparation of our à la carte dishes according to given recipes
- Breakfast preparations
- Responsibility for food and ingredient quality
- Efficient use of materials and equipment in accordance with internal guidelines
- Contributing suggestions to optimize processes
You can expect a pleasant and relaxed working atmosphere as well as a long-term position in a young, growing company located in the cultural center of Vienna. For this position, a salary above the collective agreement is provided (while guaranteeing appropriate compensation based on your experience and qualifications).
